All is well at the Logan's...
Woohoo! We've survived two nights with two boys :-) Mom stayed last night (she's the best!) and we each took a boy to feed. I actually got sleep in two hour increments and feel like a million dollars today! So good that I went to Panera this morning for the first time by myself in over two and a half months! The visiting nurse came today to check on the boys...here's the latest:
Jack 4 lbs 9 oz (born @ 4 lbs 5 oz) 18" long (17" @ birth)
Ryan 4 lbs 1 oz (born @ 3 lbs 13 oz) 17.5" long (16.5" @ birth)
They are both doing well, eating, growing and sleeping a lot :-) We haven't had a lot of time to take pictures but will post some more soon. It's amazing how much they can change in two short weeks! Ryan is still a little slow on taking his bottle (anywhere from 20 min to an hour!) while Jack is very efficient as he finishs in 20 minutes! We're proud of the boys...the nurses said they both burp like truck drivers :-)
Brooke is doing well too. She's now getting almost full feeds via her nasal tube and gets one bottle three times a day. I'm going to see her today and get to give her a bottle...very exciting for me! The doctors are very pleased with her progress. They even "popped the top" to her isolette as she's maintaining her temperature and we hope to have her home soon! I visited her today and she now outweighs her brothers! She weighs 4 lbs 14 oz...my cute little (I mean big!) girl :-)
Kyle is actually adjusting very well. It helps that my parents have been around a lot and spoil him rotten :-) The boys gave him a very nice present when they both came home that he's enjoyed playing with. He likes to look in the bassinets and say "hi Jack" and "hi Ryan"! Last night he even wanted to lean in and give them a kiss after he was done playing with the toy they got him! He's still trying to figure out who is who...we're keeping them in the same spots so he can tell them apart. Each morning he gets to walk over to Cheryl's with Ama or Papa. He loves to step on the tiny red berries, touch all the fire hydrants and see the kite that's stuck in the tree. He really looks forward to his walks. He also loves the moon these days too and gets very excited when he finds it - even during the day! When he, daddy and Macey go for a walk at night, they get to see the moon and stars.
Mom & Dad are headed to Connecticut for baby Lila's Christening this weekend so we'll be on our own. We'll have lots of family and friends that want to come help/visit though so it'll be a revolving door, I'm sure!
