* Kyle's preschool picture. Doesn't he look SO cute and SO grown up?!
Kyle spent the day at my parents today. He gets to do this about one every few weeks and always looks forward to it because he gets their undivided attention. As you can imagine, he loves to be spoiled :-) He made a special request to make waffles this morning. They had a lot of fun, as always. Mom & dad brought him home and we all had dinner together...what great times.
Kyle has finally hit the 30 lb mark! He stands on the scale each bath night and we finally moved past seeing 29 lbs forever! He's doing great at school. It's hard to believe that he's progressed in two short months. He's always been pretty shy and timid around other kids but he's slowly coming out of his shell. He is REALLY looking forward to Christmas already. This year is going to be so much fun.
Everyone else is doing great too. The babies are growing and changing so fast these days! Ryan is pretty much walking! He'll let go of the couch and walk across the room. He's learning to get up from the floor and walk from there. Sometimes he'll just stop and sit down half way across the room. It's so cute because he gets so excited as he's doing it and when he sees how excited we are, he gets a huge smile and starts clapping his hands. He'll be totally walking very soon. I'll post a video soon.
Brooke is showing quite a temper lately. When you're playing with her and one of the boys comes up, she'll squeal in a high pitched voice and push them away! The "divaism" has begun :-) She's still quite the talker and can say hi while waving, use sign language for milk and I'm sure there are A LOT of other words, we're just not sure what she's saying with all the jibberish! She loves to bring you a book to read to her, especially the touch and feel books. She can stand on her own for awhile and walk while you're holding one of her hands but she's not ready to let go yet.
Jack is still Mr. Smiley. He's also Mr. Independent as he can entertain himself for awhile. When Kyle was little, we never had to really baby proof the house because he wasn't one to find trouble. Fast forward to Mr. Jack and it's a different story. We've found a few rolls of toilet paper coming down the hallway and saw him climbing up on Kyle's step stool, up two steps, with a big grin on his face. Definitely the ringleader! He's not interested in walking yet but puts his head down and crawls like crazy. Who needs to walk when you can crawl that fast!? He's saying "night night" (nigh nigh) when Ed rocks him to sleep and waves hi.
They all can blow kisses and love to kiss each other (open mouth kisses, of course!) a lot! In the mornings when I get them up I set them on the floor and they crawl to each other to give kisses. It is truly the sweetest thing to see.
We have a new mother's helper coming over once a week. Kara is a sweet 14 year old who loves the babies! She came over last night for the first time...we're going to love having her! After she left, I was giving Kyle a bath and he said, "I liked Miss Kara, mommy!" Yeah!!!!
I'm so excited, I just had the first year of the blog printed and made into a hard bound book. The website, for you fellow bloggers, is http://www.blog2print.com/. The book is fabulous!
That's all for now...good night!

Kyle is such a little man! Too cute (of course) and sorry, Jen, looks just like Ed! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Katy
I love reading the updates on your kiddies! Brooke and Ali Jane need to get together- two divas surrounded by three brothers! ;-) I love the pictures too- the one of Kyle and your dad is so sweet to me! I don't know if it is the lighting or what! Thanks for posting that website! I can't wait to check it out!!! Hard to keep up on scrapbooking with all the kiddies!
Hugs-
Laura
I don't even know where to start with my comment - such a fun post :-)
Love Kyle's picture, love that Ryan is walking, love Brooke's diva behavior, love Jack getting into the toilet paper.
Love that the babies give eachother kisses in the morning and HOW IN THE WORLD are they old enough to start saying words (nigh-nigh!)????
