What a difference a year makes. Last year my parents were here watching the baby boys as they were just three weeks old and Brooke was still in the hospital. Ed and I took Kyle out trick or treating and preparing for Brooke's arrival home the next day (on Ed's birthday!). This year, the day was chaotic, as they all are these days, as we prepared for Halloween. Mom & Dad came over to help give out candy so we could take the kids out for awhile. It was a pretty quick trip around the neighborhood because it was so cold but Kyle still managed to fill up on candy!? He was so excited about Halloween and afterwards said he had a great day. Isn't that what it's all about!? It was fun watching the triplets as they watched all of the kids. They were rather wild today but as soon as they got into the stroller and we started around the neighborhood, they didn't move or say a word...just were in awe of everyone and everything. We had such a great/tiring day. So great that I'm off to bed :-) Happy Halloween!
P.S. I'm not sure if I mentioned the amazing pumpkins that my dad grows for the grandkids every year. They are HUGE and around late August, he and Kyle carved everyone's names into their respective pumpkins. As they grow, the names grow with it. As you can see above, they look very cool! Kyle really looks forward to planting the seeds each spring and enjoys watching their progress throughout the summer. The end result is truly spectacular!

Love the pumpkins :-)
They look adorable. What fun!
Awesome Jen! We should have came to your neighborhood! Now that would be a scary sight.....triplets galore:-)
What fun!! Wait 'ti next year!! The BIG pumpkins are so very special. We'd have Papa Drapal try to keep up and do that, but I'm afraid that he doesn't have the incredible green thumb that your father does!
LOVE IT!!! The Zoo Crew is such a great idea!! They are so incredibly cute- and you are so right! What a different a year makes!!! Love everything about it!!! Happy Halloween!!!!
Cute costumes and love the pumpkins. How did you get your kids to stay on the pumpkins?
