Getting ready for the big day...

Miss Brooke is ready to come home!

Kyle feeding Jack (isn't this the cutest picture?!?!) - When you ask Kyle if you can take his picture, he now says "I'm shy!"
Well, Saturday will be the big day! Not only is it Ed's birthday but he gets to bring home his baby girl! As you can imagine, we are SO excited to be able to bring Brooke home and have our family together for the first time. She'll have her NG tube in her nose, however, it will only be used as a back-up in case she's not drinking everything from a bottle. She's been doing great taking a bottle but gets tired out sometimes so the feeding has to be completed through the tube. But I can handle that, I'm just ready to have her home! She also weighs five pounds now too!
We received our new triple stroller this week and are ready to use it for the first time when we pick up Brooke. The funny (crazy, rather) thing about it is that the wheels have to come off just to get it in the van! It's quite a contraption but with lots of bells and whistles :-)
We're getting our training from the fabulous nurses on her tube, meds, etc so we'll be well equipped when we bring her home. How ironic that Saturday night is daylight savings time and we're "supposed" to get an extra hour of sleep!?!?
Tonight Ed and Kyle carved his pumpkin. I'll have pictures to post tomorrow. They had a good time and Kyle was excited to see his pumpkin lit up in the dark. I can't wait to see him dressed up for Halloween, he's been practicing his "trick or treat" and can't wait to get CANDY! And mommy can't wait to EAT the candy :-)

So happy for you & Ed!! Love the picture of Kyle feeding his little brother - so precious. And LOL about him being shy, that's hysterical.
Let's see if Michigan can make it THREE good things on Saturday and pull out a win at Purdue :-)
Great news- I'm so happy for you! Can't wait to meet all three of your little ones next week!

Congratulations! Maybe it would be easier to get the stroller in and out of Ed's new 'shaggin waggin'! (Oh, this might mean Jen would have to ride in it, probably won't happen.) We're so happy for you and I'm sure everyone is happy to be home. No one sleeps well at the hospital.
Happy Birthday Ed!
