Friday at Ama and Papa's

Today we spent the day at mom & dads house. They had workers coming over (electrician, etc) so we had a relaxing day there. It's harder to get work done as they don't have wireless yet (come on dad!) but still managed to get some done. My last day of work is going to be next Friday as it's starting to get difficult to get things done - my arms almost can't reach the keyboard anymore!?!? It's been great having work to take my mind off of being on bedrest so I've been thankful for that.
It's so cute that Kyle has a memory like a steel trap! When we get off the exit near my parents house, Kyle knows that we pass Meijer (then Target, which is across the street - his two favorite stores!), we'll soon see horses, then a Santa Claus statue (ho, ho, ho he says) sitting on someone's front porch, then the big windmill at the veterinarians office. We then get next door to my parents where there is Tom's windmill (I don't think he realizes that it's Tom's house, just named Tom's windmill!) and finally, papa and ama's windmill. Sometimes we'll throw him off and get off an exit sooner where we just see the airport but he knows that as soon as we're at the exit! It's amazing how he can have a memory like that!
Kyle is in a "kitty cat" stage right now and there is one that hangs out in my parents yard every once in awhile. Kyle always asks about him when we're there and ironically he showed up today! Here is a picture of Kyle and his new friend, appropriately named "kitty cat". Note that he has yet another apple in his hand. That's his latest obsession...collecting them from the apple tree for mommy :-)
