Another busy Saturday...on a different couch!

Today was Brian/Elena/Lila's get together for family & friends at my parents. I succeeded to sit/lay on every couch and chair in the house! It was the perfect day outside so having forty people around wasn't so wild. There were so many kids for Kyle to play with (or chase!) so he had a blast. So much that he didn't have time for a nap!

Lots of family and friends came over to meet baby Lila and she did so well being handed off from one to another. I got my final Lila fix for awhile. Hopefully they'll come for Thanksgiving so she can meet her new cousins! It was so great having them here for a week but it then makes it harder when they leave. We'll look forward to their next visit as it will be awhile before we have the courage, money and energy to travel with four kids!

My poor parents...Kyle wanted their attention today despite the fact that they had lots of company to entertain. Every time he saw my mom he would say, "sit down Ama!" He always knows that she'll play with him. Kyle found his sandbox and wanted to know why there wasn't any sand in it so dad and Uncle Steve filled it up for him (the sand has been there for awhile!) and that entertained him and the kids for awhile. However, Kyle crawled in bed with us that night and we practically had a sandbox in our bed in the morning. He crashed so hard on the ride home that we didn't have the heart to wake him and give him a bath. Life is good when you're two years old!

We have our next doctor appointment on Monday where they measure the babies again. These are my favorite appointments...hopefully everyone is growing like crazy so they'll be nice and chunky when they decide to arrive.
