It's HOT!

* Babies chillin' in the pool at Cheryl's (L-R: Jack, Ryan, Brooke). My boss, Lori, gave me Brooke's adorable bathing suit, which has a matching hat and coverall. She definitely fills it in...so chunky she's almost edible :-)
* The boys "swimming"! They loved their first dip in the pool on our first 90 degree day...finally!
* Our friends the Ondejkos visited tonight. They are home visiting from Raleigh, NC.
What an action packed day. The babies had their first dip in the pool, Kyle was sick and we had company! Nicole took the cute pictures of the babies as I wasn't there to witness it. They all loved it so I can't wait to get them out more. Of course, once I put that amazing product, Coppertone on them (Full disclosure, I sell it :-).
Kyle's had a fever and hasn't been himself for the past few days and woke up from his nap today complaining about his ears. Fortunately we were able to get in to see the doc who said he fortunately (or unfortunately for him!) just has a bummer of a cold. When we were driving to the doctor, Kyle wanted to know if the doctor would give him the pink, bubble gum medicine that Jack got, like it was a treat! When we got there, the fever is a symptom of the swine flu so they gave us masks to wear and escorted us to our own private waiting room. I KNEW that wasn't going to go over well...and it didn't! He had a complete meltdown, thank goodness we didn't have to wait long. He didn't get the antibiotics he wanted but we did score some bubble gum Motrin and some M&M's on the way home. And my skinny mini only weighs 29 pounds!?!?
The Cubs are in Detroit this week for inner-league play and of course, Ed feels the need to attend every game. Fortunately Pauline came over last night and tonight our friends, the Ondejko's were visiting from Raleigh. They brought over dinner and got to see the triplets again. Their kids, Hailey and Nathan are such sweet kids and they played hit with Kyle in the backyard. We had a fun/crazy evening...they were SOOOO helpful! The babies were in their high chairs when they came in and when Dan turned the corner into the kitchen, they saw him and all started crying! Poor Dan, thank goodness they finally came around. It was so great to see them...I think they need to move back to Michigan!
Ed, Kyle and I are going to the Cubs game tomorrow afternoon, here's hoping it doesn't rain!
Last but not least, HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY BABY LILA! Amazing that it's been a year. Kyle sent her a recorded message card too...he loves his baby ya ya! And my bro/sister-in-law have another girl on the way...due in November. Our kids are excited to have another cousin on the way :-)
