Life's a Circus

Last weekend the Blasy's invited us to the Shrine circus. This has now become a tradition (our second annual!). We dropped Ryan & Brooke off at my grandma's house and my parents and grandma entertained them while Kyle, Jack, Ed and I met the Blasy's at the circus. We had a great time once again. Jack was "the chosen one" this time and enjoyed hanging out with Kyle and the Blasy boys.

Last year, the highlight of Kyle and Jackson Blasy's day at the circus was the elephants pooping. Not just a little poop but a WHOLE tall trash can full...obviously the reason it was so memorable! Unfortunately (for Kyle & Jackson anyways) the elephants did not poop AT ALL this year. When we got back to my grandma's, she asked Kyle how the circus was and his first comment was, the elephants didn't poop! Ah, the mind of a three year old is fabulous! There were a lot of great acts at the circus this year and everyone agreed the best part, besides the elephants, was the five motorcycles that raced around inside a steel ball...crazy! Thanks Blasy's for a great day!

And speaking of a circus, here was our attempt at a picture of my grandma with the kids. My mom sent me these and titled it "organized chaos", very fitting :-) Thank goodness my grandma has a sense of humor! Thanks mom, dad and grandma for watching Brooke & Ryan so we could enjoy the "other" circus :-)
