Weekend with the Logan Clan

Pictures:
* Cousin Logan with the babies (L-R: Brooke, Jack & Ryan). Notice Jack's nice move against his sisters head and her expression! I'm sure this is a sign of what's to come...the bully and the princess :-)
* The babies smiling!
* Logan and Brooke
* Logan and Ryan (his favorite baby, and you can tell by how much he's hugging him they're going to be best buds!)
* Kyle and Logan at music class, sharing the drum
* Aunt Kris smooching Brooke as Uncle Mark looks on
First of all, my neighbor Julie dropped off a package on our doorstep last Wednesday morning. To my surprise (and delight!), it was homemade spinach pie. OMG, it was AMAZING! I think she should go into business. Kyle even enjoyed it, which speaks volumes. Thanks again Julie for the awesome dinner(s), that was very sweet of you!
We had a fun weekend with Ed's sisters, Kris (hubby Mark) and Jill (cousin Logan). They arrived on Friday evening from Champaign. On Saturday, Kyle, Logan, Jill and I went to music class and had a great time. This was our last class and we're taking the Spring/Summer off so we'll miss seeing Miss Melissa and Kyle's friends at class. We might try a swim class for a change...or just relax and enjoy our Saturdays!
The rest of Saturday was a crazy day, as usual. The good news was it was very warm here so we grilled out (my parents came by to see everyone and brought food!), the boys played "kick" outside and we relaxed the rest of the day (relaxed being a relative word). In the evening, Ed, Mark, Jill, Kyle and Logan went to Chuck E. Cheese while Kris and I had baby duty. I think we got the better end of the deal for sure! It was Kyle and Logan's first trip to the crazy place and Kyle was a little overwhelmed. He came home and told me that "he cwied (cried) mommy!". I think we might wait awhile until he visits again. We really miss not having Ed's family close by and seeing them more often but LOVE when they all come to visit!
They all left on Sunday morning and our clan got ready to go up north for Kyle's friend, Jackson's third birthday party. It was great because my parents met us on the way up, we traded cars (theirs had the babies in it!) and we took their car (with just Kyle...how I forget how easy it is to have one child!) and stopped at the outlet mall to make a few exchanges. We then finished the trip to Saginaw for the big birthday bash. A lot of fun was had by all. Kyle had another traumatic experience as the mascot for the Saginaw Spirit made an appearance. Kyle's not a big fan of "mascots". He loves them from afar, not so much up close. Jackson, being a HUGE hockey fan, was very excited which was very cute. The party was fun and it was great to see their family and friends who we hadn't seen in awhile. We then headed over to my grandma's where my parents and the babies were, then headed home soon after. It was a longgggggg weekend but a fun one!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the pita so much. And why is Jack punching the both of them in the first picture?!?!?
